We are a therapeutic school currently on an exciting journey to be registered as a therapeutic community and welcome staff who follow this ethos.
If you would like to be part of our journey to support students’ lives, we are looking for a Head of Upper School to join our team. The Head of School is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive range of services to meet the various social, emotional and mental health needs of the students, including overseeing offsite provision including contract management and risk assessments; mentoring and working closely with students who are reluctant to learn; leading on assemblies and tutor sessions; working with a wide range of stakeholders and multi-agency teams; and the management of staff and/ or a tutor team.

Due to the nature of the role the ideal applicant must hold, at minimum, QTS or other relevant degree, have previous experience of teaching children with special educational and emotional needs, in a secondary environment as well as being knowledgeable in effective behaviour management strategies and their implementation.
