Position: Production Manager
Department: Operations/Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities-
1. Unskilled Labor Management
- Supervise and guide unskilled labor to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and workplace regulations.
2. Shift Planning
- Develop and manage effective shift schedules to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Monitor attendance and address workforce issues promptly.
3. Communication with Vendors
- Manage order placement with vendors and ensure timely updates on delivery schedules.
- Resolve any issues related to procurement or supply chain.
4. - Production Planning and Line Management-
- Plan and execute production schedules to meet business targets.
- Monitor production lines to ensure efficiency, quality, and minimal downtime.
5. Team Review and Quick Actions
- Conduct regular performance reviews of the production team.
- Implement corrective measures to address bottlenecks or deviations in production processes.
6. Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods.
- Conduct regular stock audits and ensure accurate reporting.
7. Cross-Department Communication
- Collaborate with design, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production workflows.
- Address inter-departmental issues and align objectives for operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3- 5 years of experience in production or operations management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and production planning tools.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Production Planning Control to oversee all aspects of production planning and control for both our gemstone and jewellery manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, capable of optimizing production flow, minimizing lead times, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Jewellery Production Planning:
• Develop and execute comprehensive production schedules for all jewellery orders, considering factors such as order volume, lead times, resource availability, and production capacity.
• Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to optimize production flow and minimize stockouts.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
• Develop and maintain accurate production records and reports, including production schedules, inventory levels, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Gemstone Supply Planning:
