Who We Are:
We're EmpowHERto, and we're all about helping girls aged 14 to 21 feel strong and confident. We offer cool programs in leadership, health, money, and STEAM (science, tech, engineering, arts, math) to help them reach for the stars!
The Job:
As our Graphic Designer, you'll be the creative force behind our visual identity, bringing our mission to life through stunning designs that captivate and inspire especially since we will be premiere our new branding for 2025. From eye-catching social media graphics to impactful event materials, you'll use your design expertise to amplify our message and engage our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and create visually stunning designs for a variety of projects, including social media graphics, event materials, infographics, and more.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and ensure consistent branding across all materials.
- Translate complex ideas and messages into clear, compelling visuals that resonate with our audience.
- Design visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces for our digital platforms, including websites, mobile apps, and online tools.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and iterate on design ideas.
- Ensure consistency and coherence across all digital touchpoints, maintaining our brand identity and design standards.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role, with a focus on UI/UX.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, versatility, attention to detail, and expertise in UI/UX design, including the ability to solve complex design challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design ideas and concepts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a deep passion for empowering girls and young women and a strong commitment to our mission.
This fully online opportunity requires a commitment of 10 hours per week on a volunteer basis.
