Job Summary:

We are hiring a highly experienced General Manager – Sales Consultant with strong expertise in the water and waste industry, specifically in the areas of wastewater treatment (ETP/STP, WTP), water purification (RO/DM/UF), sewage systems, and solid waste solutions. The candidate must possess a deep understanding of technical processes and infrastructure planning and have the ability to consult clients and architects on integrated environmental solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive B2B and institutional sales in the water waste segment, targeting industries, real estate developers, architects, and EPC consultants.
• Consult clients and architects on the selection and design of ETP, STP, WTP, RO, and solid waste systems as per regulatory and project-specific requirements.
• Prepare and review technical proposals, layout drawings, BOQs, and costing in coordination with the design team.
• Present solutions that align with site architecture, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Lead the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure, including site visits, technical discussions, and contract finalization.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key clients, infrastructure consultants, builders, and government bodies.
• Monitor sales targets, market penetration, and competitor activities to ensure strategic advantage.
• Ensure adherence to municipal norms, CPCB/SPCB guidelines, and green building (IGBC/LEED) standards.

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 8 to 10 years of proven sales experience in the water and waste industry is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of treatment technologies (STP, ETP, RO, WTP), sludge management, and waste handling systems.
• Prior experience in collaborating with architects, infrastructure planners, and project consultants.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and CRM systems preferred.
