Job title: Event Coordinator
Company: Gallup
Job description: Working side by side with Gallup’s event manager, you’ll be part of a global team that strives every day to create perfectly orchestrated corporate events. In this role, you will use your event-planning skills to coordinate gatherings for 50 people, conferences for thousands and everything in between. You’ll partner with vendors, brief speakers, oversee virtual elements, lead communications, provide guidance on event materials, participate in the creative process and more.
As an event coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to have a big impact from day one. You’ll be making important decisions that help us build our brand. This isn’t a sit-in-an-office-by-yourself role — you’ll have a team waiting to collaborate with you and a chance to develop relationships around every corner. Does it get intense? Sometimes. Is it high profile? Of course. But is it the most fun you can have with an amazing team all pushing to the end goal? Every time.

Who we want:
Meticulous planners. Corporate event planning is so much more than hosting an event. It takes weeks, months and sometimes even years of investment in perfection. Always focused on the end goal, you enjoy the overall process and every piece of creating amazing in-person and virtual events.
Exceptional communicators. You understand the importance of everyone being on the same page. Whether that means briefing speakers or aligning with project partners down the hall, you thrive on being in the middle of the action and ensuring that everyone around you is clear on the objectives at hand.
Perfectionists. Obsessed with details? We are too. Budgets, agendas, food and beverage, timelines — the list goes on and on. If you stay awake at night thinking through the intricacies of setting up events with total perfection, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Orchestrators. If you’re a pro at arranging competing priorities, you’re who we’re looking for. We want someone who can prioritize the urgency of multiple requests to meet deadlines with outstanding quality while balancing the input of multiple stakeholders, an endless list of ideas and that little constraint we call a budget.
Inquisitive learners. Events are always evolving. What is new today is old tomorrow. You enjoy staying up to date on new systems and technology and are excited to conquer new challenges to make each event better than the last. You are quick to understand Gallup’s business and event platforms. Whether it is a virtual event, videos or spreadsheets, you enjoy becoming an expert who can navigate it all.
Brand ambassadors. At Gallup, our events represent an exceptional brand of analytics and advice on everything that matters. Your job is to engage internal employees, clients, prospects and attendees by creating memorable — and magical — moments that leave a lasting impact on each and every person who attends.
