Position: Events Manager

Responsibilities:

As the Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring that each occasion meets the high standards that Queens Harbour is committed to delivering. Key responsibilities include:

Event Coordination Planning:

Lead and manage the full cycle of event execution, from client consultation to post-event follow-up.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and customize events accordingly.
Prepare detailed event proposals, timelines, and execution plans.
Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders and clearly communicate event requirements to operations and culinary teams.
Operational Oversight:

Work closely with the operations, culinary, and service teams to ensure flawless execution of events.
Manage onsite execution of event from set up and guest arrival to guest departure and tear down.
Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event evaluations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and venue regulations.
Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for all event planning-related inquiries.
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to promote repeat business and referrals.
Deliver high levels of service that exceeds client expectations.
Budget Reporting:

Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring profitability and value.
Track and analyze event metrics and client feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in event planning or management, preferably in hospitality.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with acute attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proven track record of executing events of varying scales and formats.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Proficiency with event software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Expected start date: August 2025

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Reports to: Director of Sales

Compensation Plan: Total Compensation Package: $58,000–$68,000, which includes base pay and estimated annual commissions of $10,000 based on sales performance.
