Role Overview

The team at Orana Kindergarten is growing, and we are looking for an exceptional Teacher to bring our education and care model to life. This part-time, ongoing role involves providing a program of education and care based on the strengths, dispositions, skills and interests of the children.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the kindergarten program.
Providing a program of education and care that evolves from observations, feedback from parents, the inclusion of the broader community and other written records.
Ensuring the program adheres to the agreed centre philosophy as well as the Code of Conduct.
Requirements

Degree in Early Childhood Teaching and VIT registration.
Demonstrated skill and experience working in an early education and care setting.
Proven ability to work in a cohesive team environment.
Demonstrated understanding and capability for working with diverse communities.
