Responsibilities
Responsible for the smooth running of the assigned service area including the associated administrative activities (bookings in the cash register system, etc.)
Professional wine and beverage service according to set standards and guidelines
Participation in creating, checking and forwarding food, beverage and hotel store orders for the work area according to given budgets and other specifications
Execution, control and evaluation of inventories
Participation in special events (campaigns, morning pints, etc.)
Carrying out routine tasks such as assembly and dismantling measures in the area of responsibility, as well as the proper and clearing away of goods and equipment according to the highest safety standards
Control of goods movements and ordering processes in the area of responsibility
Ensuring the availability of logs and checklists according to company specifications
Strict compliance with safety, environmental and hygiene guidelines (ShipSan, PH/HACCP, ISM/&ISO, SQM, TUIC service standards) in the area of responsibility
Cleaning / sanitizing the workplace (including work equipment used), using personal protective equipment (PPE)
In special cases, flexible use in other service areas
Control and compliance with the internal board regulations in the area of responsibility
Receiving and resolving guest complaints
Control and enforcement of quality standards in the area of responsibility
As part of the pre-opening, additional tasks are to be carried out as instructed when taking over the ship, in the shipyard, when equipping and setting up the ship
Close cooperation with the Headwaiter and Maitre D', including regular reporting; Prompt treatment (and written reporting) of conflicts and disruptions in the workflow
Active implementation of the product philosophy in relation to hotel operations
