Role/Job Title: Branch Relationship Manager-Rural
Function/Department: Rural Banking
Job Purpose:
The role entails deepening relationships with Rural Banking accounts and ensuring best in-class service to the customers. The role bearer is responsible for understanding the client needs and working with customers to help them make the right decisions with their accounts. The role bearer must maintain updated knowledge on all bank products and services to ensure high quality assistance in resolving customer queries as well as developing new relationships with prospective clients. This is a critical role which leverages business generation opportunities to help achieve larger organizational objectives.
Roles Responsibilities:
• Contribute to penetration of liabilities business in Rural markets through lead generations, account penetration and relationship deepening as per needs of customer.
• Ensure maintenance of Average Monthly Balance of Relationship of customers mapped to the incumbent.
• Deepen the relationship with existing customers of the branch.
• Ensure completion of account opening formalities with strict adherence to KYC norms. (Field verification Mandatory)
• Engage customers with multiple products at the time of account Opening. (viz: Mobile banking / Net banking registration / Recurring Deposit-Fixed Deposit activation)
• Ensuring account usage constantly maintaining health of account.
• Ensure superior customer service to capture larger wallet share of population.
• Execute resolution of customer queries and issues.
• Recommend process changes in order to improve service efficiency and quality across the branch network.
• Provide support for implementation of livelihood advancement and community development initiatives.
Education Qualification:
Graduation: Any Graduate
Experience: 2 years above relevant branch banking experience.

Analyze and review loan applications to assess credit worthiness of potential borrowers.
Monitor credit portfolios to ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes related to credit risk management.
Monitor and report on the risk performance of the loan portfolio.
Maintain and update credit risk models and related documentation.
Identify and monitor trends and emerging risks in the loan portfolio.
Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze and report on credit risk trends and emerging risks to senior management.
Provide training and guidance to junior staff on credit risk management.
