Job summary The job resides in the Talent Acquisition group and would be primarily responsible for senior level hiring, mapping the competition and creating pipeline to critical roles inside the bank. The role will expand into other areas of TA like handling campus initiatives as well This is an Individual Contributor role • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with hiring managers to discuss and understand open position needs criteria • Designing and spearheading recruiting strategies for attracting, evaluating and hiring qualified candidates • Identifying the organization s needs and working to create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy to improve recruitment and business performance and building talent pipelines for current and future job openings • Initiates innovative and creative sourcing campaigns to attract desirable or targeted talent • Synergise the team to build a network of potential future hires (e.g. past applicants, referred candidates, market mapping etc.) by conducting research, gathering market intelligence on hiring trends in peer organizations, benefits, perks and compensation practices so we can stay abreast with the market trends, stay competitive and be pro-active while devising sourcing hiring strategies • Managing the campus relationships campus branding in addition to spearheading the overall brand management of SMBC from a recruiting standpoint • Manage work in collaboration with the executive search firms • Conducts research and prepare a variety of reports and statistics with respect in terms of market level salary, job descriptions etc • Updates job knowledge by participating in industry events, reading professional publications, maintaining or leveraging professional networks • Accomplishes Human Resources Department and organization mission by achieving the hiring targets in a timely, ethical and professional manner and by bringing in fine talent Position Specifications • A University Post Graduate, preferred with MBA from a reputed Institute • 10+ years in the area of Talent Acquisition with focus on leadership hiring in the recent years Special Skills • Strong communication negotiation skills • Multi-tasking and good time management • Ability to work under strenuous situations • Team management skills • Good interpersonal skills
