We are looking for a proactive and performance-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive client acquisition and revenue growth for our digital marketing services. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in a digital/creative agency environment and understands how to position services like SEO, performance marketing, social media, branding, and content into impactful business solutions.
Job Role -
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, consultative selling, and strong client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities for digital marketing and creative services across industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, acting as a trusted business advisor.
• Understand client requirements and pitch customized digital marketing strategies.
• Lead end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation → qualification → proposal → negotiation → closure.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, and performance, content) to create winning proposals, strategies, and SOWs.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with strategic, insight-driven proposals and presentations.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and new growth opportunities.
• Participate in networking events, online platforms, and outbound activities (LinkedIn, Upwork, cold outreach) to generate leads.
• Maintain accurate records of pipeline, leads, and client communication in CRM tools.
• Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of proven experience in Business Development / Sales within a Digital Marketing or Creative Agency.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing services: SEO, SEM/PPC, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, and Analytics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with CRM tools and lead generation platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, Freelancer, etc.).
• Ability to work independently in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Strong consultative selling approach with a focus on client needs and ROI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, HubSpot, Meta Ads, Google Ads.
• Proven track record of closing mid to large-scale digital marketing or branding deals.
• Ability to articulate ROI-driven strategies and performance metrics to clients.
• Existing network of clients or industry connections is a strong advantage.
