SALARY: $74,000 - $78,000

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

HOURS: Full Time - 40 Hours Weekly

LOCATION: This is a hybrid position with administrative offices located at 3875 South 66th Street Suite 101, Tacoma WA 98409.

ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

The Boys Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound (BGCSPS) is a non-profit organization that CHANGES LIVES through quality programs and guidance in a safe, affordable, and fun environment. BGCSPS’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. We have been providing a safe, fun, and positive environment at our sites with trained and dedicated professional staff for more than 80 years. Members are involved in age-appropriate activities based upon our three priority outcomes of Academic Success, Character Development, and Healthy Lifestyles.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, the Corporate Partnerships Events Manager is a leadership role within the Philanthropy team, responsible for driving over $1.1 million in annual revenue through a combined portfolio of corporate partnerships and fundraising events. This position manages all aspects of our corporate sponsorship and engagement strategy, including cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and volunteer integration; and leads the planning and performance of BGCSPS’s signature fundraising events. The Manager directly supervises the Events Coordinator and works closely with the Chief Philanthropy Officer to align events and partnerships with the organization’s mission and financial goals.

We are seeking a strategic thinker and relationship-builder—someone who can connect day-to-day execution with long-term growth, and who brings both creativity and accountability to their work. The ideal candidate thrives in a cross-functional environment, is energized by donor engagement, and brings a learning mindset and collaborative leadership style to their team.

While this role is focused on philanthropic revenue, it operates within a strong values-driven culture. The Manager will represent BGCSPS at community and civic events, ensuring that our partnerships and public presence reflect the needs and aspirations of the youth and communities we serve. This position collaborates closely with Marketing Communications, Operations, and Executive leadership, and works directly with Board members and volunteer leadership on sponsorships, event strategy, and donor engagement, to deliver cohesive, mission-aligned fundraising and engagement experiences.

Supervise the Events Coordinator and lead all aspects of event strategy, planning, and execution.
With the Events Coordinator, manage and grow $750K+ in annual event revenue, including forecasting, expense management, and budget accountability.

Collaborate with the Chief Philanthropy Officer, Individual Giving Manager, Board members, and other organizational leaders to develop event audiences and deepen donor engagement.
3. Community Integration Corporate Engagement

Design and implement corporate engagement strategies that are rooted in community context and meaningful to both partners and Club youth.
Coordinate corporate volunteer opportunities and service projects in partnership with the Volunteer Coordinator, ensuring meaningful engagement that supports Club needs and deepens partner relationships.

5. Data, Reporting Administrative Excellence

Deliver clear, timely impact reports and digital assets to demonstrate the return on investment for corporate partners.
6. Leadership, Culture Values

Build an inspiring corporate engagement and event fundraising program grounded in BGCSPS’s mission, vision, and organizational values.
Engage with Board members as partners in fundraising and sponsorship, including collaboration on event strategy, donor introductions, and committee involvement.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture, bringing a mindset of integrity, learning, and shared success.
