VACANCY

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Educational Services, the Coordinator of Instructional Services will provide leadership in the supervision, evaluation, research and development of instructional programs, measurement and evaluation, teaching approaches, and the management of certain human, financial and material resources.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

Providing leadership and support for the Quebec Education Plan in our schools;
Development of tools and resources to support the assessment and reporting of student progress;
Elaboration of a training and professional development plan for teachers and administrators;
Representing New Frontiers on various committees, including some at the provincial level;
Supervising and evaluating personnel under the incumbent’s authority.
Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study certifying a minimum three-year university program or hold a senior executive or senior staff position, excluding that of manager, in a school board;
Five years of relevant experience;
A permanent teaching license issued by the Minister of Education (Brevet).

Is able to work in a collaborative environment;
Has the ability to show initiative, multitask, and demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing priorities;
