Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee electrical projects and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. We are looking for an experienced and driven Electrical Foreman to oversee our high-value commercial projects. Duties
Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and other tradespeople.
Oversee budgeting processes, including construction estimating and resource allocation.
Ensure timely completion of projects by effectively managing schedules and timelines.
Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure adherence to specifications and contract requirements.
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in electrical work.
Lead and supervise teams on large-scale commercial job sites
Coordinate with contractors, clients, inspectors, and suppliers
Interpret blueprints and ensure all installations meet NEC and project specs
Track job progress, material usage, and labor efficiency
Experience
12+ years of experience leading commercial electrical crews on ground-up construction, renovations, and tenant improvement projects.
Supervised and coordinated teams of electricians and apprentices, ensuring projects were completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Managed commercial electrical projects valued at $500,000+ from planning through completion, coordinating labor, materials, subcontractors, and daily jobsite operations.
Interpreted electrical blueprints, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installations and code compliance.
Coordinated with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, vendors, and clients to maintain project schedules, resolve field issues, and ensure successful project delivery.
Monitored labor productivity, material usage, and project progress while assisting with budgeting, construction estimating, and cost control.
Conducted daily safety meetings, jobsite inspections, and quality control reviews to maintain OSHA standards and company safety policies.
Provided leadership, mentoring, and on-the-job training to electricians and apprentices, promoting quality workmanship and professional development.
Performed troubleshooting of complex electrical systems and implemented effective solutions to minimize delays and maintain project timelines.
Proficient in installing and supervising the installation of conduit, switchgear, panels, transformers, lighting, distribution systems, and other commercial electrical equipment.
Current TDLR Journeyman Electrician License (or higher) with a valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Recognized for strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills while consistently delivering high-quality commercial electrical projects on time and within budget.
