We're seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Business Services Coordinator for a fixed-term role through till 31 January 2027.
Mo tenei turanga - About the role:
The Business Services Coordinator will join our team in Waitemata and will be reporting to the Business Service Team Leader.
Our district teams require a variety of day-to-day administrative support to Career, Volunteers, District Leadership and Community Risk Management teams. You'll be part of a team committed to delivering outstanding administrative support, which includes:
Providing administrative support to various internal functions and departments.
General office administrative functions including data entry
Minute taking and stakeholder engagement.
Responding to public and general internal enquiries including requests for official information
This is a fixed-term role starting ASAP through to 31 January 2027

You will be a highly motivated individual with a proactive approach to enhancing business processes within the organisation. As a team player, you will bring your engaging personality, exceptional communication skills, and innovative ideas to the role.
You will be responsible for maintaining quality administration systems and delivering support to a high standard within agreed timeframes. This role will require you to analyse, respond and action or redirect enquiries and become a trusted point of contact for the district.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:
Highly effective time management and prioritisation skills
Excellent written communication skills
Tech-savvy including competency across the MS Office suite of applications.
Thrives on providing a great service.
Positive "can do" attitude and quick to learn.
Natural affinity for problem-solving and improvement
High Level attention to detail and time management
