Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals
Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare financial reports for management review
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits
Provide support in the implementation of new accounting software
Skills

Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
