Education and Work Experience:

College or Technical/ Trade School Degree in Engineering, Technical Field
-or-

3+ years of experience in water treatment or plumbing.

The Account Manager will provide onsite customer service for all water treatment and equipment Apollo Technologies provides including water softening, reverse osmosis, filtration, and other technologies for water and energy savings as proposed by Apollo Technologies. The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that all customers in their account base are up to date on the latest in water and energy savings and helps them take advantage of those opportunities. The Account Manager is also responsible for growing their territory and selling to new prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical and testing services to existing Apollo accounts; prepare computer-generated service reports summarizing each service call.
Work with Apollo Area Managers on water/energy saving proposals within the existing customer base and to potential clients, writing and presenting proposals.
Become the “expert” for reverse osmosis, ion exchange, and membrane filter technologies as taught by Apollo, provide recommendations to customers for system and equipment improvements.
Seek out new accounts independently and with the help of the Area Manager, maintaining a record of communications in Apollo/WEI provided CRM.
Supervise all work of the Technical Service Representative within the Account Manager’s customer base by reviewing service reports and ride-along monitoring quarterly. Report findings to Area Manager in a timely fashion.

Strong environmental consciousness
Ability and willingness to travel a local route with some overnight travel possible using a company vehicle.
Competency in CAD and/or similar basic drawing program for piping/hydronics flows is preferred
Mechanically inclined with basic electronics and plumbing skills preferred
Work Environment:

This position is largely self-directed and requires understanding of company policy, procedures, and values. Team members will be required to adhere to all safety requirements in all work environments. While performing the duties of this position, the team member will be exposed to moving, mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise levels, internal and external temperature / weather conditions, and exposed to chemicals.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 60 pounds, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and regularly required to sit.
