As an Assistant Accountant with our Shared Services team, you will assist with gathering financial data and ensure consistent usage of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, promoting consistent best practice accounting application across the group.

In addition to the above you will:
Month end calculations and journal entries.
Balance Sheet reconciliation and associated tasks.
Treasury Management focussing on issuing bonds to our customers.
Environmental transaction data review and correction.
Completion of GST returns.
Direct Debit allocations.

We’re looking for someone with:
A relevant tertiary qualification and working toward CA/CPA certification.
Solid understanding of financial data and reporting requirements
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
This role will suit an experienced Administrator with a strong understanding of finance or an accountant at the start of their career.
