Finance Associate

Job Title: Associate – Finance Accounts

We are seeking an experienced Associate – Finance Accounts to join our team at OpsMaven. This role requires a strong background in accounting and accounts payable (AP) processes under US GAAP.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all invoices are accurately recorded in the system.
• Verify purchase agreements, purchase orders, delivery notes, challans, and other supporting documents before releasing payments.
• Manage the AP process efficiently, resolving vendor queries in a timely manner.
• Provide invoice status and payment confirmation to vendors and suppliers.
• Communicate with vendors to ensure compliance with US tax regulations.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and provide balance confirmation.
• Reconcile vendor payments with bank statements and identify any discrepancies.
• Monitor and control AP aging reports.
• Prepare monthly purchases and provisions for month-end close.
• Maintain accurate records of expenses and make necessary provisions.
• Establish vendor registration and collect required documentation to set up in the system.
• Timely pass payroll entries into the system.
• Generate MIS reports as required.
• Assist in reconciling US and India taxes, and support audit processes, including responding to audit queries for both entities.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Finance Accounts, preferably with US GAAP.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in AP processes.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral), relationship-building skills, and ability to lead and develop others. Read more
