Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking motivated and hands-on individuals eager to kick-start their careers in welding and metal fabrication. As a Welding Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced welders and fabricators, gaining hands-on training in various welding techniques, fabrication processes, and industry safety standards. Key Responsibilities

Assist senior welders and fabricators in day-to-day operations.

Learn and practice welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• *

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Operate basic shop equipment including grinders, saws, torches, and presses.

Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and use protective equipment appropriately.

Prepare materials and surfaces for welding and assembly.

Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and workspaces.

Track progress and maintain records of learning milestones.
• Required Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• *

Basic understanding of mechanical principles.

Strong interest in welding, fabrication, and manufacturing.

Physically able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced professionals.

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic.

No prior welding experience is required — this is a beginner-friendly apprenticeship.

Any vocational training, shop class experience, or previous exposure to tools is a plus.
• Working Hours
• *

Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (subject to site/location)

Occasional overtime may be available based on project needs.
• *

Weekend work may be required on rare occasions.
