JOB SUMMARY
A Warehouse Associate at Legends Haul plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to order picking, storing, freezer organization and delivering products in a safe and efficient manner. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role may also deliver products to customers using company owned vans, so a driver license with clean abstract is required.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Picking: Efficiently pick orders according to customer requirements using hand-held scanners where possible. Ensure orders are placed securely on carts to minimize damage during transit
Freezer Storage Management: Transfer finished goods from manufacturing areas to the right locations in a freezer environment.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies. Assist in conducting regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Product Handling: Handle meat products with care, adhering to food safety regulations and company guidelines. Follow proper storage and rotation procedures to maintain product freshness
Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and strappers to safely move, transport and pack goods within the warehouse. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any issues or malfunctions
Documentation and Record Keeping: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, such as receiving forms, pick lists, and shipping labels. Maintain organized records of all warehouse activities
Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to safety protocols and promote a clean and organized work environment. Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers regarding any issues or concerns
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
Forklift experience Certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred but not required.
Experience in the food industry or a similar environment is a plus.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects (up to 70 pounds), standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking, inventory management, and recordkeeping
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals
Safety Consciousness: Knowledge of and commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including the ability to work weekends or extended hours when required
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and other departments
Must hold a class 5 driver license with clean driving abstract
Must be comfortable working in cooler and freezer environment.
