You will have a postgraduate qualification in Music and an emerging or established career as a conductor nationally and/or internationally. You will have an advanced and wide-ranging knowledge of conducting diverse ensembles. You will have previous experience teaching conducting at HE level and experience of assessment at HE level.
Your primary duties will include delivering the teaching and assessment of one undergraduate module: Conducting (Level 2).
You will contribute to an exceptional education for undergraduates in music and make an exceptional contribution to the Department’s teaching profile and culture. You will be keen to pursue opportunities for teaching development, impact, public engagement, and/or interdisciplinary work. You will offer pastoral support to students as a Personal Tutor and be keen on championing and promoting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives. You may be assigned administrative duties to support the teaching work of the Department.
