We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Great Bookham, Surrey. We're thrilled to be working with an exceptional Mainstream Primary School near Great Bookham, Surrey who are looking for a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant to support a learner in KS1 and KS2.

Location: Great Bookham, Surrey

Salary: £85 - £+0 per day (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)

Start Date: October/November 2024

Teaching Assistant (1 To 1) Key Responsibilities
• Provide individualised support to clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Assist with day-to-day activities, promoting independence and positive behaviour.
• Implement and follow care plans tailored to each student's needs.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
• Address both the emotional and educational needs of students.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers to ensure individualised learning and emotional support.
• Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
• Support KS1 and KS2 learners.

Teaching Assistant (1 To 1) Requirements
• Prior experience working with SEN is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with school staff, parents, and carers.
• Certificates in supporting teaching and learning are beneficial.
• Availability for full-time work, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30.
• Must be able to commute to Great Bookham, Surrey.
• Right to work full time in the UK is essential.
• Must have a Child and Adult DBS
