The successful candidate will be motivated by the belief that every young person can achieve their potential. Whilst previous experience of working in a SEN environment is desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.

As a teacher at Mill Green School, you will seek to enhance the learning opportunities for our young people, supporting them in their preparation for adulthood and next steps into continued education, employment or life! You will be delivering inclusive, responsive and innovative teaching and learning in a nurturing, supportive environment. You will constantly strive to produce outstanding teaching and learning to ensure that all learners succeed and will not be afraid to initiate new ideas and take risks in a safe and stimulating environment, ensuring that our learners are able to achieve, be valued and feel secure.

By joining the team, you will have the opportunity to benefit from bespoke training, CPD, networking and professional dialogue days with colleagues and peers both within and outside of Mill Green to ensure that you can reach your potential as a teacher within a specialist setting.

Interested candidates should submit a covering letter (no more than two sides A4), outlining how their experience, knowledge and understanding, skills and qualities make them an exceptional candidate for the role.
