Necessary Qualifications:

possession of a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate;
university training, or its equivalent, relevant to the posted position; and,
successful teaching experience relevant to the posted position.

The successful candidate must:

possess relevant university training, or its equivalent in the subject areas;
possess relevant experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary level;
be familiar with the BC Student Performance Standards; and,
have a solid understanding and knowledge of the BC Ministry new high school curriculum and competencies.

Salary range: $60,015 per year to $10+,520 per year, based on category as assigned by the Teachers Qualification Service (TQS) and previous teaching experience.
