Full job description
Australia-wide, family owned and operated, fragile freight transport company is looking for a talented and experienced Delivery Driver to join their Sydney team. This role will be reporting directly to the Despatch manager, and once fully trained you will be operating independently, delivering and collecting clients goods, unloading & loading both local and interstate trucks ready for delivery the next day.

DETAILS:

· Loading/unloading freight from trucks.

· Assisting Despatch Manager with general responsibilities

· Maintaining clean and tidy warehouse and trucks

· Immediate start, hourly rate $35/hr (above the award)

· All deliveries are on Pantech’s with tailgate unload, but access to plenty of equipment available to minimise labour as much as possible

· Hours can vary, but aiming for between 35-45 hours a week

· mostly daytime hours with very little weekend/evenings/very early mornings

· Immediate start ideal

· Employment progress available (casual, full time, hourly, salary)

· Regular opportunities to do long distance runs, including intrastate & interstate, for right candidate

REQUIREMENTS:

· Good health and fitness level

· Strong availability for shift work

· DRIVERS LICENSE - HR/MR

· Be a team player with good communication skills

· Fluency in English

· Previous experience in fragile freight or furniture is highly regarded

· LF forklift highly regarded
