Swimming Teacher

We are looking for someone to provide exceptional swimming lessons to our customers in our parent and baby pre-school swimming lessons which are held at various venues.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Be a Baby Squid Ambassador at all times
Planning Lessons that are exciting and enjoyable for all
Teaching classes in a safe and positive manner
Ensure children are progressing in their development each term
Self-managing – working autonomously in a professional and conscientious way, keeping good time management
Personal values

Self-motivation, enthusiasm and a “can do” positive attitude
Good communicator
Willingness to take ownership and accountability
The ability to work equally well on your own and as part of a team.
Good general health and fitness levels, maintaining an interest in swimming
Diligent in your own Continuous Professional Development
A friendly and outgoing personality
Minimum Qualifications

Either hold or be willing to obtain STA Baby and Pre-School Level 2 award (training can be provided)
Either hold or be willing to obtain STA Safety Award for teachers (or equivalent) (training can be provided)
Either hold or be willing to obtain a safeguarding course (can be provided)
Either hold or be willing to be DBS checked
Must have own transport to carry out duties
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £20.00 per hour
