Supply Cover Teacher

Location: Salford

Salary: Starting from £120 per day; Dependant on experience

Hours: Full Time - 8:30am to 3:30pm

Value Education are seeking an experienced Cover Teacher to work in various Secondary Schools in Salford

This position will entail working 3-5 days a week teaching students aged 11 to 16.

About the School:

The Schools we are working with cater for pupils of Secondary School age. We are seeking a Cover Teacher with strong behaviour management skills to deliver engaging lessons across various subjects. Students in the classes you will be working in have various needs and use a range of different communication methods in classes.

In this role, each day is different and so adapting to new environments and different learning styles is key.

Responsibilities of a Cover Teacher:

Analyse lesson plans at short notice to deliver to a class
Manage behaviour in the classroom in the absence of the class teacher
Upkeep a safe environment for pupils in the School
Promote inclusion and keep the students motivated and engaged in their learning
Communicate with the absent class teacher and forward the completed work over to them
