We are hiring a Summer Wedding Assistant to support our video team on wedding days and pre-wedding shoots.
This is a great fit for a recent high school graduate who’s reliable, quick to learn, and comfortable working around people in a fast-paced wedding environment.
What you’ll do
Support our crew on-site during weddings and shoots
Help set up and pack down gear (camera bags, tripods, lights, accessories)
Keep equipment organized, charged, and ready (batteries, memory cards, small essentials)
Assist with simple tasks on the day: holding reflectors, carrying items, helping with timelines, coordinating family for group photos
Be a calm, friendly point of support for clients and family when needed
Capture basic behind-the-scenes phone clips (optional, if you enjoy content)
Help keep things tidy and professional during busy moments
Requirements
Valid driver’s license (required) so you can reliably get to different shoot locations across the city (and occasionally surrounding areas)
Strong English communication (required)
Punjabi speaking (required or preferred)
Recent high school graduate (or similar) is welcome
Comfortable standing/walking for long periods and lifting light/medium equipment
Punctual, respectful, well-presented, and able to follow direction
Nice to have (not required)
Interest in videography or social media
Event, hospitality, or customer service experience
Basic phone filming (Reels/TikTok-style BTS)
Schedule
Seasonal: Summer (July–September)
Shifts vary based on wedding schedule
Most weddings are Fri–Sun, with some weekdays
Typical shifts: 4–12 hours
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
