Staff accountant - AR
We are looking for a full time on-site Staff accountant to maintain the day-to-day financial records to track the organizations accounts receivable. The duties include updating financial records by processing vendor invoices, collections, and A/R reporting. May also assist with reconciling bank statements, balancing the general ledger and preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Requirements for this position include the following:
Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
Three years of related accounting experience in accounts receivable and ability to manage collections effectively.
Excellent communication skills required.
Must be organized and have excellent attention to detail.
Knowledge of accounts receivable, collections and general financial accounting.
Understanding and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software (experience with SAP and Dutchie strongly preferred).
Ability to follow up, multitask and manage time independently.
Must be able to adapt to changing work.
Must provide adequate levels of support to internal and external stakeholders/customers.
Must be able to take directions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
Due to ******** industry regulations, all candidates must be at least 21 years old, receive CORI clearance, and must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Physical requirements include being able to stand, walk, lift, sit, climb stairs and bend for most of their work schedule. The candidate must also be able to lift/push/pull up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required for this job which includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
