Electrical Design Role
Role
Own and deliver electrical design, validation, and industrialization of power electronics products and systems, ensuring performance, safety, compliance, manufacturability, and lifecycle reliability across Solar, BESS/PCS, EV Chargers, Electrolysers, and Industrial Power Systems, Microgrid and Data centre products
Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical Design and Engineering of Power Conversion products for solar, PCS, EC Charger and industrial power conversion products.
• Define system-level electrical architecture.
• Prepare BOM and Electrical Engineering Schematics, Component selection
• Own power stage design (rectifiers, inverters, DC-DC stages).
• Define protection, grounding, and insulation strategies.
• Select and qualify semiconductors, magnetics, and passives.
• Support Prototype development
2. Compliance, Safety & EMC
• Ensure compliance with:
• IEC / UL / IS standards
• Grid codes and product safety norms
• Own creepage & clearance, insulation coordination, and earthing.
• Drive EMI/EMC design and mitigation strategies.
• Support certification and third-party audits.
3. Electrical Validation & Reliability
• Define electrical validation plans (DVT, HALT, HASS).
• Support thermal and derating analysis.
• Conduct failure analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive design robustness and reliability improvements.
4. Manufacturing & Cost Optimization
• Support NPI, production ramp-up, and yield improvement.
• Drive BOM optimization and cost reduction.
• Support supplier technical discussions and qualification.
