We are currently looking for a fixed-term Supplier Quality Specialist, located in Florenceville, NB.


Reporting to the Manager Supplier Quality, the Supplier Quality Specialist will execute the Supply Quality audit plan while also supporting Manager Supplier Quality in supplier document management and closure of supplier non-conformances. This is a temporary position, covering for a maternity leave, with a duration of a minimum of 8 months.


Accountabilities:

Lead the execution of the Supplier Audit plan for F26
Complete supplier audit reports
Manage supplier post-audit gap closure
Evaluate Supplier performance and adjust audit plan as needed
Review audit reports from 3rd Party contracted auditors
Support the Supplier Quality team in supplier document management on TraceGains
Lead supplier complaint corrective action reviews
Planning: ability to plan audits and work with suppliers prior to audits to ensure success of the visit
Supplier Management: ability to manage supplier non-conformances and corrective actions post audit.
Time management: ability to manage non-audit time supporting the supplier quality team with document management and complaint investigations
Prioritization: Ability to adjust audit plans due to unforeseen factors and to re-prioritize work with all levels within the organization including SLT

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Audit training and previous experience completing audits
Experience with BRC or other GFSI auditing standards
Familiarity with CFIA/FDA requirements
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
Working proficiency with SAP
An understanding of the McCain Direct Procurement process
Demonstrated technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or other McCain systems
Independent and tactical with a proven ability to develop professional relationships and work in a team-oriented environment

Compensation Package: 65,500 - 87,400 CAD annually


The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
