Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Project Engineer with an Electrical Engineering background and hands-on site execution experience in wastewater, biogas, or related industrial projects. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this role is central to day-to-day project execution — coordinating on-site activities, supervising contractors, managing equipment commissioning, and ensuring quality and safety compliance across assigned project packages.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 5–7 years of experience who is ready to take on greater ownership, grow into larger project responsibilities, and contribute to high-impact sustainability projects.
Key Responsibilities
Site Execution & Coordination
• Execute day-to-day site activities for wastewater treatment, biogas, or bioenergy projects under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to ensure smooth, integrated project progress.
• Monitor work progress against the project schedule and flag delays or deviations to the Project Manager promptly.
• Supervise contractors, sub-contractors, and site labour to ensure work meets specifications and drawings.
• Assist in preparation of site execution plans, method statements, and daily progress reports.
Electrical Engineering & Technical Work
• Execute and oversee installation of electrical systems including LT panels, MCC, switchgear, motors, VFDs, cabling, earthing, and lighting systems.
• Review and implement electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and vendor documents.
• Support commissioning and testing of electrical equipment, control panels, SCADA/instrumentation systems.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site in coordination with the design and engineering team.
• Carry out loop checking, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities with OEM representatives.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
• Assist in preparing material requisitions, tracking procurement status, and following up on delivery schedules.
• Inspect incoming materials and equipment at site for compliance with technical specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors for inspection, installation support, and resolution of technical snags.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure all site activities are carried out in strict adherence to QHSE standards and company safety protocols.
• Conduct and document daily safety toolbox talks, risk assessments, and near-miss reports.
• Maintain quality records, test reports, inspection checklists, and punch lists for all executed works.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain up-to-date site documentation including daily logs, material tracking, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and site photographs for Project Manager review.
• Support the Project Manager in preparing client presentations, MIS reports, and project close-out documents.
