Job Title Senior Manager Supply Chain (New Initiatives) Department Supply Chain / Manufacturing Operations Location-Jaipur (High on-ground involvement required) Role Objective To lead new supply chain and manufacturing initiatives with end-to-end ownership of factory setup, scale-up, and stabilization, ensuring cost-efficient, quality-driven, and scalable operations aligned with the companys growth plans. Key Responsibilities 1. New Initiatives & Factory Setup (Core Ownership) Own the end-to-end setup of new factories, including site readiness, layout planning, utilities, machinery installation, and manpower deployment. Lead greenfield and brownfield manufacturing projects from concept to commercial production. Drive cross-functional coordination with civil, projects, QA, finance, HR, IT, and logistics teams. Ensure factories are audit-ready and compliant from Day 1. 2. Manufacturing & Operations Scale-up Establish manufacturing processes, SOPs, and governance frameworks. Lead pilot runs, capacity ramp-up, and production stabilization. Identify bottlenecks and drive process, layout, or technology-led improvements. 3. Supply Chain Integration Integrate new factories with demand planning, procurement, and distribution networks. Ensure raw material availability, WIP control, and smooth finished goods flow. Support make-vs-buy decisions and long-term capacity expansion strategies. 4. Cost, Productivity & P&L Ownership Own factory-level cost structures and drive cost-optimization initiatives. Improve productivity, yield, and throughput while minimizing ramp-up losses. Track and report key KPIs such as capacity utilization, cost per unit, rejection %, and TAT. 5. Vendor & Partner Ecosystem Identify, onboard, and develop manufacturing and job-work partners. Drive vendor performance management, capability building, and long-term partnerships. Support commercial negotiations and contract finalization. 6. Quality, Compliance & Risk Management Implement robust quality systems and in-process controls across factories and vendors. Ensure adherence to statutory, safety, and internal compliance requirements. Identify operational risks and lead mitigation and contingency planning. 7. Leadership & Governance Build, mentor, and lead high-performing factory and initiative teams. Drive governance cadence through structured reviews, dashboards, and escalation mechanisms. Act as the single point of accountability for new initiative outcomes.
