Ongoing assignment, competitive pay rate
We are looking for an experienced welder for our client, you will be required to work in various sites across New Zealand, with weekly guaranteed hours of at least 40 and a gross hourly pay rate between $30 and $35.
In this role you will be part of a successful team, will be responsible for delivering the highest quality workmanship.
You will be required to undertake the following job duties:
Reading blueprints and drawings to understand job requirements.
Cutting, shaping and bending metal sections.
Selecting, cleaning and preparing proper metal sections.
Welding metal sections using various techniques, bolting and riveting.
Working closely with other project members to ensure health & safety rules areadhered to.
Completing all structures to the highest quality workmanship.
You will be required to have:
3 years’ experience or more experience in welding or metal fabrication area ispreferred.
Ability to work on various welding machinery.
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
A good understanding of fabrication.
Have high quality welding capabilities.
Be fit and able bodied.
Be reliable and self-motivated.
Be able to pass a drug test.
