Senior Manager, Marketing Data Performance & Intelligence
Job Description
This role sits at the intersection of marketing, data engineering and analytics, with responsibility for ensuring marketing data is structured, governed and operationalised for trusted reporting, insight generation and performance optimisation at scale.
You will define and steward the marketing data architecture across CRM, CDP, Martech and analytics platforms, ensuring consistent data models, scalable pipelines and high-quality data products that support downstream reporting, activation and experimentation.
Operating with strong executive visibility, you will translate complex datasets into structured performance frameworks, enabling attribution, funnel analysis, predictive modelling and decision-grade insights across the student lifecycle. You will also lead a specialist team spanning data governance, analytics engineering and performance reporting, embedding robust standards for data quality, metadata, lineage and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design and optimisation of the marketing data ecosystem across CRM, CDP, Martech and analytics platforms
Define and maintain canonical data models, taxonomies, data marts and semantic layers for marketing reporting and activation
Establish and govern enterprise-wide data standards, including metadata, lineage, quality rules and access controls
Design and implement marketing performance frameworks covering funnel analytics, attribution, cohort analysis and channel performance
Develop executive reporting layers, dashboards and data products that translate complex datasets into decision-ready insights
Support predictive modelling, forecasting and experimentation frameworks across the lead-to-enrolment funnel
Lead data governance practices ensuring privacy, compliance, auditability and data integrity across all marketing datasets
Build and lead a multidisciplinary team spanning analytics, reporting and data governance capability
Key Selection Criteria
Senior experience leading marketing data, analytics engineering or data governance functions in complex enterprise environments
Deep expertise in marketing analytics, attribution modelling, funnel analysis and performance measurement frameworks
Strong capability in designing and stewarding data architectures, including data marts, canonical models and integration across CRM/CDP ecosystems
Proven experience implementing data governance frameworks including data quality, metadata management, lineage and access controls
Strong commercial and analytical acumen with ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights
Experience with predictive modelling, forecasting and statistical methods applied to marketing or customer lifecycle data
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders through structured insight, narrative and data storytelling
Proven leadership of technical or hybrid teams across analytics, data engineering or BI functions
