We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Lead Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
• Line management responsibility for India based Engineers in the Retail FX.
• Manage, lead, mentor, up-skill, retain and inspire the India based engineering professionals
• Works closely with the SVS Delivery Lead to communicate potential impacts that could affect the SVS Delivery Roadmap
• Drives timely decision making around critical decisions through prioritisation and effective stakeholder management
• Understand industry trends, distilling information and communicates impact to the delivery roadmap
• Supports the SVS Tech Lead in assessing the previous quarter’s performance to inform planning for the next quarter
• Participates in PI planning to create a shared delivery plan that aligns to customer needs and wants
• Participates in estimations of high-level efforts and complexity as required to share requirements with VS leadership
• Identifies and communicates impediments and cross-SVS dependencies to the SVS Tech Lead and SVS Delivery Lead
• Lead Engineering responsibility in the Payment and Transfer SVS
• Ensure code quality and governance
• Ensure the engineering teams follow any patterns/designs set out and agreed with Architects and Chapter Leads
• Work with the SQM to ensure that the teams adhere to the governance frameworks, can support their own services in Live and adhere to Incident, Problem and Change Management processes
• Ensure that Technical Debt is tracked, logged, categorised and prioritised in JIRA
