We are hiring Sales Accountant
Location:Indore
Job Type: Full-time
Industry: Textile / Fabric Manufacturing
Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Account Clerk to support our Sales and Accounts functions for textile/fabric products.
The role will be responsible for sales invoicing, customer account reconciliation, outstanding payment tracking, sales reporting, and coordination between Sales, Production/Dispatch, and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare sales pro-forma invoices based on dispatched quantities and agreed pricing.
Coordinate and share required details for invoicing.
Maintain customer accounts and reconcile outstanding balances.
Monitor overdue payments and follow up with customers for collections.
Prepare weekly collection and outstanding reports.
Process credit notes for returns, short shipments, and quality claims.
Maintain the debtors ledger and assist with monthly customer statements.
Support VAT and other statutory documentation related to sales transactions.
Share fiscalised invoices with customers.
Perform monthly balance reconciliation with credit customers.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports based on customer, product, volume, and value.
Maintain records of sales contracts, purchase orders, customer correspondence, price lists, credit agreements, and tax-related documents.
Maintain jobwork material records and statements.
Coordinate monthly jobwork statement confirmation with vendors.
Support internal and external audits by providing required sales and accounts documentation.
Requirements
Experience in Sales Accounts, Billing, Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Debtors, or Customer Reconciliation.
Good understanding of customer outstanding and payment follow-up.
Experience in preparing invoices, credit notes, and sales reports.
Good coordination skills with Sales, Dispatch/Production, Customers, and Finance teams.
Good MS Excel and documentation skills.
