Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Domestic Sales role based in Mumbai. The Domestic Sales professional will manage relationships with retail partners, designers, and direct clients, promoting Saraswati Global Rugs’ collections within the Indian market. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting client meetings and product presentations, and maintaining regular follow-ups to close sales and meet revenue targets. The role involves coordinating order processing with internal teams, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, and delivery timelines. The position also includes gathering market feedback, contributing to sales strategies, and supporting training or product orientation sessions for key accounts as needed.
Proven Sales experience with the ability to drive lead generation, negotiate effectively, and close deals.
Experience in Sales Management or account management, including pipeline tracking and basic reporting on sales performance.
Comfort with Training activities such as product demonstrations or orientations for retail teams and partners.
Knowledge , experienced and connection of home décor, textiles, or interior design markets is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, travel domestically as needed, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for maintaining client records, proposals, and sales reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
