SEN / SEND Teacher

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of preschool children.
Educate students in foundational subjects, including Maths and literacy.
Utilise special education techniques to support children with varying learning abilities.
Conduct assessments and provide feedback on student progress.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s development.
Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning.
Engage in tutoring sessions as needed to reinforce learning objectives.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Experience

A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly in a special education setting, is highly desirable.
Familiarity with applied behaviour analysis techniques is an asset.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with students and parents alike.
Previous experience in proofreading educational materials is beneficial.
