asis Alternative Provision is an emerging, child-centred service that will provide a therapeutic and inclusive learning environment for children with additional needs. We are now inviting applications from experienced and passionate SEN Teachers who are committed to creative, flexible teaching in a nurturing, non-mainstream setting.

This role focuses on supporting early years and foundation stage pupils through personalised, sensory-aware teaching approaches that promote emotional regulation, social development, and academic progress.

This post forms part of a new provision with planned delivery from September 2025, subject to service readiness and regulatory compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver tailored lessons for pupils with SEN, following adapted and developmental curriculums
Implement the STEPS approach to support emotional and behavioural regulation
Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom culture
Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and colleagues to support joined-up care
Track pupil progress and maintain accurate records
Contribute to play-based, outdoor, and therapeutic learning opportunities
Supervise children during unstructured times as part of the wider team
