Role Description The Sales Manager – Wholesale & Retail Sarees is a full-time, on-site role based in Mau, responsible for driving sales growth across both wholesale and retail channels. This role includes managing relationships with existing wholesale partners, identifying and onboarding new retailers and distributors, and ensuring strong showroom and regional sales performance. The Sales Manager will oversee daily sales operations, set and track targets, coordinate with the inventory and logistics teams, and ensure timely order processing and delivery. The position involves conducting market visits, understanding regional demand trends, guiding customers on product selection, and representing KashiAura’s brand values and product knowledge in all interactions. The Sales Manager will also collaborate with management on pricing, promotions, and merchandising strategies, and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in sales management, preferably in textiles, ethnic wear, fashion, or FMCG.
• Strong skills in wholesaler and retailer relationship management, account handling, and customer service.
• Ability to plan and achieve sales targets, analyze market trends, and prepare accurate sales reports.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are an advantage.
• Understanding of sarees, handloom products, and Banarasi textiles, with strong product knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Comfortable with basic digital tools (MS Excel, CRM or sales tracking software, email, and messaging apps).
• Ability to work on-site in Mau, travel for market visits, and manage field activities independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
• Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a customer-centric mindset aligned with KashiAura’s heritage and quality standards.
