About the Role
We're looking for a Sales Executive / Business Development Executive who can drive client acquisition across freelance platforms, LinkedIn, and direct outreach. You'll own the full sales cycle - from finding opportunities to closing deals - across ecommerce, local business, and SaaS clients globally.
What You'll Do
Freelance Platform Sales (Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, Guru)
• Search and identify relevant job posts/opportunities based on our services
• Write and submit customized, non-generic proposals for each opportunity
• Start conversations, qualify leads (budget, timeline, requirement fit), and share pricing based on internal guidelines
• Take consistent, professional follow-ups with prospects
• Coordinate with senior team members for technical discussions and final commercials
• Maintain proper tracking of proposals, follow-ups, calls, and closures
LinkedIn Outreach & Branding
• Run direct outreach campaigns to identify and connect with decision-makers
• Support LinkedIn content/posting strategy to build Nine Digitals' brand presence
• Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools for lead generation
Cold Calling & Direct Sales
• Call and convert company-provided leads - both international and Indian clients
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Maintain CRM records and track the complete sales pipeline
What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of experience in sales/business development, with hands-on Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, or Guru bidding experience
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Experience selling digital marketing or agency services (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, PPC, content, social media) - preferred
• Comfortable with cold outreach and calling using company-provided leads
• Experience communicating and negotiating with international clients (US, UK, UAE, Australia)
• Ability to qualify leads and write personalized, relevant proposals
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, or CRM tools
• Bonus: experience with white-label agency services or AI tools (ChatGPT) to improve proposal quality
