Job Description – Retail Sales Executive (Saree/Ethnic Store)
Position: Retail Sales Executive – Saree/Ethnic Store Department: Retail
Sales Location: Runnisaidpur, Sitamarhi Bihar
Reporting To: Store Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary: We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Retail Sales Executive for our saree showroom. The candidate will assist customers in selecting sarees, provide styling guidance, achieve sales targets, and ensure an excellent shopping experience. The role requires strong product knowledge, customer handling, and showroom discipline.
Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and understand their requirements (daily wear, bridal, party wear, silk, designer, etc.) Showcase saree collections and explain fabric, design, price, and care instructions Suggest matching products (blouse pieces, fall-pico, accessories) Convert walk-in customers into sales and achieve monthly targets Maintain attractive display and visual merchandising of sarees Handle billing support and POS transactions Fold, arrange, and maintain stock properly after customer visits Coordinate with inventory team for stock availability Handle customer queries, exchange requests, and after-sales support Maintain customer database for repeat business and festive campaigns Support promotional events and festive season sales drives.
Eligibility Minimum: 12th Pass / Graduate preferred Experience: 1–3 years in saree / garment / retail showroom sales preferred Freshers with good communication may apply Required Skills Customer handling and persuasion skills Knowledge of saree fabrics and ethnic wear Sales closing ability Basic billing/POS knowledge Communication in Hindi (local language preferred) Grooming and presentation skills.
KPIs Monthly sales achievement (%) Conversion ratio Average bill value Repeat customer rate Customer satisfaction score Salary Structure (example) Fixed Salary: ₹12,000–₹1500,000/month
Incentive: Based on monthly sales achievement Weekly off + Festival incentives (as applicable) Preferred Profile: Candidate having experience in saree showroom, textile retail, ethnic wear, or fashion retail sales.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
