Responsibilities
The Outfitter / Marketing Coordinator serves as a customer-facing member of the store team with a primary focus on delivering an exceptional outfitting experience on the sales floor. This role works directly with customers to ensure the proper fit of footwear, apparel, and accessories by utilizing Fleet Feet’s fit process while promoting in-store events, training programs, and other store initiatives. In addition to outfitting responsibilities, this role supports the store’s local marketing and community outreach efforts by helping connect with both existing customers and new individuals in the surrounding community who are interested in movement, fitness, wellness, and healthy lifestyles. Working closely with store leadership and the Marketing Manager, this position assists in driving traffic into the store, supporting sales goals, and helping acquire and retain customers through grassroots marketing, local partnerships, outreach events, and content support.
Qualifications
Available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Working knowledge of Social Media and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint),
Ability to manage multiple moving parts/ plan something and see it through to completion
Professional and timely internal and external communication
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Collaborative and customer-centric
Willing to go above and beyond when needed
Strong verbal and written communication skills
