Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate person to manage two 10 bed Assisted Living Homes. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care, and maintain compliance with health regulations and industry standards. Your leadership will foster a warm, safe, and engaging home environment where residents are valued and supported. This position reports to the Licensed Administrator Responsible for both the home(s).
Responsibilities
Lead, supervise and coordinate staff and third party services/performance.
Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of care plans for residents, including those requiring Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and memory loss care.
Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
Maintain and monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, health policy standards, and disability services requirements.
Manage operational functions such as budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of all resources.
Coordinate with healthcare providers, families, and community resources to support residents’ well-being and social engagement.
Utilize Microsoft Office tools and other apps (in use) for documentation, reporting, charting, scheduling, supplying and communication purposes
Ensure staff training on resident care techniques, safety procedures, and regulatory updates to proactively maintain and ensure compliance.
Experience
Proven management experience within assisted living homs or long-term care environments.
Managerial experience with a strong understanding of assisted living care and operations.
Demonstrated expertise in Alzheimer’s care, dementia support, and memory care strategies
Background in healthcare financial management including budgeting and resource planning
Supervising teams within residential assisted living home settings.
Knowledge of regulations and compliance at state and federal levels.
Experience working with elderly residnts with memory loss and cognitive decline
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for administrative tasks and reporting purposes
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff and foster a home environment for, residents, family members and caregivers.
Pay: $46,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
