Job summary:
Enthusiastic individual who is able a support corporate bankers for all client activities (marketing, execution and on-going relationship management) and also communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders on various banking support related activities.
Client segment is the India headquartered corporate clients of the Global Corporate Bank. Position is Mumbai based.
Job responsibilities:
• Assisting bankers with preparation of marketing material and pitch books for clients
• Assisting bankers with maintaining deal pipeline & client monitoring
• Assist in KYC onboarding and ongoing internal compliance requirements
• Preparing applicable internal approval documents and draft transaction documentation
• Interacting with clients on the operational aspects of deal executions
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and product partners, credit, legal & compliance, operations on a regular basis
• Build skills sets and knowledge to eventually transition into a junior banker role over time with direct client management responsibility. This will require the candidate to have the ability to manage client relationships and provide solutions to these clients across the corporate banking product suite, with specific focus on cash management, trade, liquidity, foreign exchange, debt market and funding solutions
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
• Post-graduation/ Chartered Accountant / MBA from a reputed institute
• Understanding of corporate balance sheets and banking products
• Ability to multi-task and work with various stakeholders, including senior corporate bankers, offshore partners, product partners, operations support, credit management
• Client management skills and issue resolution
• Ability to work independently as well as be a team player. Strong presentation & communication skills
• Previous work experience of 2-3 years (for Analyst position) and 3-5 years (for Associate position), preferably in Corporate Banking or related client facing functions/roles
