Job Description
Education, Training And Experience
Remote nursing certification or eligible for Remote Nursing Certification to be obtained within one (1) year of hire.
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN(C) registrant.
Three (3) years' recent related experience; knowledge of available programs and services, their interrelationships, and their function in delivering care in the community; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Basic Life Support, Level 'C' certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Trauma nursing core course or equivalent.
Completion of STI certification preferred.
Valid Driver's license

Utilizes sound judgment, good observation and assessment skills, tact and empathy.
Intervene in crisis or difficult situations.
Demonstrates effective written, electronic and verbal communication to facilitate inter-professional collaborative practice, health environments and a respectful workplace for client, staff, students and partners/affiliates.
Demonstrates ability to manage time and resources effectively.
Demonstrates self-awareness, developing and implementing own learning goals for continuous learning and professional development.
Informs, applies and integrates research and evidence-based best practice related to nursing and health-related disciplines and the humanities, arts and sciences disciplines into professional practice.
Demonstrates ability to operate related equipment and technology including relevant computer applications.
