Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Registered Psychiatric Nurse to support clients dealing with mental health and addiction challenges. In this role, you will assist with the intake process, handle crisis interventions, perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic care.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the first point of contact for clients in mental health or addiction crises.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations.
• Develop individualized care plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Administer medications and monitor client responses.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent client care.
• Educate clients mental health conditions and treatment options.
Requirements:
• Valid license to practice as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in Saskatchewan.
• Experience with diverse populations across the lifespan.
• Strong skills in evidence-based therapies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with issues like depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction.
• Experience working with Indigenous communities or knowledge of Indigenous cultures is an asset.
