We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Practical Nurse to join our Endoscopy team.
Employment Status: Temporary Part Time
Duration: April 2026 - subject to change as per Article 3 – Management Rights.
Hours of Work: Must be available to work all rotating shifts from Monday to Friday including 7:00-3:00, 7:15-3:15, 7:30-3:30, 8:00-4:00 and/or 8:30-4:30 - subject to change as per Article 3 – Management Rights
Location: Humber River Health, Wilson Site

Reporting Relationship: Manager, Endoscopy PACU
Hourly Rate: $36.+2+ - $37.466
Responsibilities:
Registered Practical Nurse duties as set out by the department
Requirements:
Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two year diploma program
Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current BCLS certification required
Demonstrated ability to work at full scope of practice
3-5 years of recent medical-surgical experience required
Minimum 1 year Endoscopy Suite experience required and obtained recently
Knowledge of Phase I and II Recovery criteria
Demonstrated excellent patient assessment skills
Demonstrated good organizational skills and problem solving skills required
Demonstrated good interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with a variety of staff, patients and visitors
Demonstrated excellent patient/family teaching skills
Basic computer skills and Meditech experience is an asset.
Good communication skills, both oral and written
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent attendance and discipline free record required
